Adfin Founder Portraits
ADFIN FOUNDER & TEAM PHOTOGRAPHY
Adfin, a B2B invoicing and payments platform, needed founder photography with more personality than the standard studio headshot set: brand-forward images that dramatised the problem the product solves, alongside clean individual portraits for press and speaker use.
The headshots followed a straightforward brief: studio lighting, black background, both founders shot in the same setup for consistency across bios, decks, and press profiles.
The centrepiece was a concept shot built around Adfin's own pitch: invoices that pile up and chase themselves. The idea called for a blizzard of paper invoices frozen mid-air around the founders in their office, in front of the company's own branded signage. A single throw of paper never produces enough density or spread to fill a frame convincingly, and doesn't repeat identically between exposures, so the final image is a composite of seven separate frames: the founders held their pose while paper was thrown and reshot multiple times, then the strongest paper spread from each frame was layered together in post to build a single image with far more invoices in flight than any one throw could produce, while keeping the founders sharp and consistently lit throughout.
Getting that composite to read as one coherent moment rather than an obvious edit meant matching lighting and paper trajectory angle across every throw, and keeping the founders' pose and expression identical between frames so the blend line never shows in the final image.
The delivered set gave Adfin a strong hero image built around their own brand message for press and social use, plus a clean headshot library for founder bios, speaker submissions, and ongoing PR requests.
