BUMPER TEAM PHOTOGRAPHY

Bumper booked a company-wide team photography session at a large warehouse venue in north London on 10 November 2021. The brief was broad by design: headshots for individual staff that would need to work across a wide variety of media, from press and social profiles to internal and investor-facing material, so the images had to read cleanly at any size and in any context rather than being tailored to one specific use.

Individual coverage ran each team member through the same pairing: a tight headshot and a looser three-quarter shot, both against the warehouse's exposed brick wall, lit to keep a consistent warm tone across the whole set despite the venue's mixed and largely improvised lighting. Staff wore a mix of branded Bumper fleeces, gilets, and t-shirts, giving the company a library where the branding reads clearly without every image looking identical.

The warehouse itself, with its raw brick, structural steelwork, and scale, gave the individual portraits a distinct character against a de facto default of plain studio backdrops, while still being large enough to host the full team and Bumper's liveried Land Rover Defender fleet vehicles for two wide group shots.

Coordinating a session for the entire company in one sitting meant working through each person's pairing briskly to keep the whole team moving through in a single session, before closing with the two group shots, positioning nearly twenty people twice across the warehouse floor against the parked fleet vehicles.

The delivered set gave Bumper a full library of individual staff headshots for immediate, flexible use across whatever media a given piece of coverage called for, plus two full-team group images anchored by the company's own branded vehicles for wider company and culture storytelling.
