EARLYBIRD VENTURE CAPITAL LONDON TEAM

Earlybird Venture Capital commissioned a team portrait session at its London office, timed to support press announcements introducing new partners to the firm. The images needed to work as press assets first: recognisable, well-lit group shots that editors could run alongside partner announcement stories without further art direction.

The main group portrait was shot against the office's branded Earlybird Venture Capital wall sign, giving the image an immediate, unambiguous identity for anyone seeing it out of context in a news piece. A second setup moved into the office lounge, a looser, more editorial arrangement across a sofa and armchairs that gave the firm a softer, more human alternative to the formal wall shot.

Working with a full team in a real, furnished office rather than a studio meant managing mixed daylight from the office windows alongside the room's ambient lighting, keeping exposure even across a group spread front to back rather than lined up in a single plane.

The delivered set gave Earlybird a press-ready London team image for partner announcements and general press use, plus a secondary lounge portrait for less formal editorial or social contexts.

The gif was a bit of fun at the end of the shoot, not part of the press brief, just a loose moment kept alongside the formal set.
